I believe that God loved us enough to send his son, Jesus. I believe that a personal relationship with Christ is necessary for salvaion. Jesus died to save us from our sins and to offer the gift of eternal life with him. Only through God's grace are we forgiven and empowered to live a Christian life. I believe that it is human nature to sin and it is only with God's help that we can attain spiritual growth. The Christian journey is a daily active walk, and seeking God's will continually. When we sin, God is faithful and just and will forgive us. In turn we are to forgive others as Christ has forgiven us. I believe that is is every Christian's responsibility and privilege to share the love of God with others.
I feel that God has called me to reach people for the Kingdom of God. I am to encourage others to identify their gifts and use them for God's glory. I am called to comfort, encourage, love, and teach the people of God. My leadership style is informal, but I like orderly services. I try to create a comfortable atmosphere at meetings so that everyone feels free to voice their opinion. I like to be aware of what's going on in the church in all areas. Rev. Carol McCartney
